Overnight Caitlin has come down with a high fever. Neurophen is keeping it under control but it is pretty high.
This morning her fever is still high, and she doesn’t feel well. We had planned on moving down the coast today, but there is no imperative. So we book in for another night.
And what a lazy day it ends up being. The kids spend most of the day watching ABC for Kids or ME. We catch up with some housework (or is that vanwork) and fix some small issues.
It’s overcast, windy and cool and not 100% pleasant outside, the perfect day to stay indoors and rest.
We discuss the options for going home, either via Mildura or Broken Hill. Mildura is slightly shorter (not sure about quicker). We figure it would be unlikely we’d drive out to broken hill again, while Mildura we might do on a future Victoria trip. Jury still out, but it’s leaning in Broken Hill’s favour.
Well I thought I should at least send you one comment before you get home. I have been fascinated reading and looking at the trip. Hoping to see you soon. I liked the superpit, and wish I had been there with you.
