Day 13 – Lake Pukaki to Cromwell

We’re up with the sunrise.  We left a polite distance of about 5 or 6mtrs between us and the other van, there’s plenty of room here. Overnight some bloody campers in a jucy van have stuffed themselves in-between us.  Grrrr.

Anyway, after some breakfast the kids go and explore on the rocks down by the lake shore.

As we pull out its 1°, so it’s fresh.

All the lakes here are connected to a large interlinked Hydropower system.   So we drive by channels and power stations as we make our way south towards Wanaka.

Through Central Otago and over the Lindis Pass.

Into Wanaka and we revisit Puzzling world.  The kids really love it.

We visit all the inside attractions and this time we finally finish the giant Maze, it’s bloody hard.  Some more souvenirs from the gift shop and we’re off.

We continue south and stop at a campsite on Lake Dunstan just before Cromwell.
