So with another day up our sleeves we have a really lazy day around the house. At least today is a lot cooler and much less humid than yesterday. More reading time for me.
We spend some time packing the van and car, getting ready for an early getaway tomorrow morning.

Into town for some last minute shopping and then back to the house, and the kids have a swim.
Caitlin – Mid Jump!
A bit later the young family from next door come over. Yesterday they’d arranged to come over for a swim, but as today is a bit cooler than yesterday they only last a few minutes in the pool. We end up on the deck with some nibbles and a few drinks. They are a nice family and it’s good to see Dawn has such nice neighbour who can help each other out.
Speaking of Neighbours, another of Dawn’s neighbours has just returned from a fishing trip and has brought over a few wonderful fish, filleted and ready to throw on the Barby.
A sweep of the house to get what we can packed before tomorrow.
We’ve both look at options of where to stay about half way between here and Foster and nothing is jumping out at us. While we’ve favorited a few spots there is still nothing booked. We’ll just have to sort something out tomorrow.
