Day 4

What a difference a night makes.

The rain has gone and the blue sky is out.   We get a morning visit from a couple of roos.

After breaky the kids and I go for a morning swim and kayak.   The water is pretty warm, well certainly not cold.

As the day wears on, the wind starts to pick from the south east over the lake in front of us and the water is starting to get pretty choppy.   Probably too much to get the kayak out this afternoon.   So while is a warm day, the cool breeze keeps things comfortable.

I take a walk back over to reception, which is on the north side of the point, the water is much calmer here.

I’ve said it before, small changes in location can make such a difference.  Here we have a great view of the lake and this nice breeze,  On the other side of the road they see trees and roadway.   Reminds me a bit of the caravan park at Walwa, where while next to the Murray River, as we were on the other side of the road all we say was other caravans.

As evening approaches, the wind drops and it starts to warm up a bit.  With all the water around it’s pretty humid.   The lake is calm again, amazing to see how much it changes over the day.  Overnight rain is predicted, but no sign of it so far.
