A call to the oven repair guy and of course the parts haven’t arrived. So over to the reception to book in an extra night.
We don’t have any plans for today, we take the opportunity to do a bit more washing and I give the Van a wash. More red dirt gone.
We take the kids over to a fancy park about 5km away and some take away lunch.
The kids improvise a Xmas tree from a stick… We can do better.
Back to the van park in the afternoon and I finish off cleaning the top half of the van. I still need to do the checkerplate section. The kids chill with a movie, it’s nice & quiet for us too.
Out of the blue at 8:30 I get a txt from the gas fitter that the parts for the oven have arrived and he can fix it tomorrow morning. We’d given up on them arriving today and where discussing what to do tomorrow. Maybe drive east an hour or two and find somewhere to camp? So whilst it’s good news it could have come a bit earlier in the day.
