The tiler comes over and we get to discuss the plan. We wanted to make sure our choice of 600x300mm tiles was OK and wouldn’t cause more dramas, partially on the floor where they need to make a fall towards the floor waste. He’s fine with the tiles, and he and Justine discuss the top border tile and how to finish above it.
So now we know that the tiles we’ve chosen are OK and we have a good handle on the quantities we need.
Today the guys finish off the clear out. All the old copper pipework gets ripped out. They get most of the new bearers and joists in. So while there’s not tons of visible progress, it nice that the demo has stopped and the rebuilding stage has started already.
