After breakfast I walk up to the viewing platform near the bay, Low tide again. The tides should start working in our favour next week.

Broome – Not much happening today. We start packing and tidying up. A quick round of mini golf over at the general store (note, we are all crap at it). More swimming, then we get ready to pick Darren up at the airport. The kids really missed him, they are excited to see him (me too).

I’ve got a 3pm flight to Perth then the redeye back to Sydney. I should get up to Newcastle around lunchtime tomorrow (Sunday).
Justine drops me off at the airport.

It’s still 220km to Broome. 40km back to the highway, then onto Broome. For the last three days, other than the odd roadhouse to get fuel, there is nothing out here. You can see some roads leading to cattle stations, but there is not much else.
