Last Day. What a whirlwind. We are renting the house out fully furnished for the whole time we are away (so there is no coming back). So we need to pack away all our personal stuff and leave the place ready for the people who are renting it.

Tomorrow we need to be in Belmont at 9:30 to give the van a service at Five Star Campers, so we need to leave home at about 6:30am. Given we need to leave so early and need the house ready to hand over we’ve decided to sleep in the van overnight outside the house. Kids are excited, us not so much!
So up at six, to start the final push. The time wasted with getting the rego done has put us on the back foot a little. I’ve also got a couple of last minute meetings at the office to attend as well.
There are so many small items to be done. We were a little lucky as I called our office cleaners a couple of days ago, to see if they could fit us in at the last minute. Having them come to give the place a once over got us a couple of hours back.
Bags of stuff in storage, stuff out to the van, pack the car. It was a really hectic day. Finally at about 9:30 we’re done. Both physically and mentally.
