We agree that the best plan is to go to Birdsville, get George’s car checked and then see what options we have.
Continue reading “Day 11 – French line to Eyre Creek”Up at 7, the regular packup and get ready. I had some roof load problems yesterday. I didn’t really secure the empty Jerry to the roof too well, and it fell off. Self-inflicted, so a better job this morning.

Continue reading “Day 5 – Brachina Gorge”A damn cold night last night, and as we didn’t have the swags under the awning, they are covered in dew this morning. It’s hard to find the motivation to get out of the nice warm sleeping bag, but needs must.
Continue reading “Day 4 – Skytrek”A much warmer night last night, not really cold at all.
We get away a little earlier today. We travel the back way into Berri, via the Ferry, such a nice way to start the drive today.
Continue reading “Day 3 – Berri to Flinders Ranges”While crisp, it was a great night’s sleep.
We not in any super rush, and I’ve allowed some extra time this morning to practice our packups. In the end we’re not out till just before 10am.
